Here's a little repost of one of my favorite holiday desktop images from 3 years ago. I made it when I was just a couple months into my first 365 project. There's a Retina desktop version and a mobile one too.

Coatings
I was just doing some organizing, cleaning and such and the different colored reflections from the anti-glare coatings on my Zuiko lenses made for a really cool scene.
Punchbowl Falls
Yesterday I did something I almost never do. I headed off into the Columbia Gorge Alone with my camera (maybe more than just one) and focused on nature. I took it slow, kept quiet and made a few photos that took some time to think through and put together. I like getting out there with other people, but there's a place for this too.
Locked
This one was taken a couple weeks back, but I keep seeing it while going through images and really like it. There are abandoned locks like this all over Portland.
Leave Me Alone
I'm pretty sure that's what this dumpster would say.
Fried Egg Love Lunch
I've worked in the Hawthorne neighborhood near 39th Ave for a year and a half or so, and in that time, I've discovered a few great places to grab lunch. Fried Egg I'm in Love is right there at the top for either a late breakfast or lunch.
I stopped in yesterday and though the big tent and side window were closed due to the strong East wind we've been enduring, Jace was keeping things going and hooked me up with my favorite , the Yolko Ono.
Jace owns the cart with Ryan and gave me some history about the cart, seasonality and what it's like to cook up fantastic egg-based, breakfast food in Portland.
Thanks man, fantasic food, as always!

Summer 2014 by Film
I don't shoot a lot of film- maybe a roll of 36 frames every 4 weeks or so. I continue to do so, primarily because it has a different feel, a different color pallette than I'm used to with digital. I also wait for the right timing. There is also a palpable cost with each frame, so I'm not going to just fire away.
Because I shoot so sparingly, I often wish for smaller rolls of film. 12 would seem about right. I'm also a little spoiled by the resolution and latitude I get with my digital cameras so there's a thought of experimenting with medium format film eventually.
Either way, the types of film I shoot are either hard to get or unavailable in smaller rolls. These were made with Kodak Portra 400, but I set the camera to 200 on the advice of a couple great photographers.
