I waited in line for the original iPhone 5 years ago. One of my clients called and asked if I wanted to come join him in line at the AT&T near my house. I said, "If anyone asks, we'll just say I'm your son." I don't remember his exact response, but he didn't like the implication that he was old enough to be my father. Nonetheless, we had a great time waiting in line for a couple hours in the pouring rain.
I've had an iPhone in my pocket every day since.
